A project initially begun as a lighting sketch I ended up exploring to a further state. I've always enjoyed the sharp contrast in neon palettes, and I wanted to utilize it in a way I could challenge my ability to tell a story in a mundane setting. This was a also fun experimentation of the power of ray-tracing in UE4, in which case I tested the difference in quality between dynamic lighting in SSGI and RTX rendering as seen in the bottom gif.
